Since 22:19 UTC, every account can add an SMS or Phone call channel under Alerts → Channels, for numbers in the EU and the UK. A number gets nothing until you confirm it with a 6-digit code, sent by text or read out in a call. An account can have up to 2 numbers.
- Texts cover down, partly down, back up and the reminders while a monitor stays down. Each is one short message with the monitor's name, its status, the domain and the time in UTC, and no link.
- Calls ring for outages and their reminders only, never for recoveries. The call reads the alert out twice in English, and pressing 1 acknowledges the outage, which stops the reminders. Calls come from +44 7897 022430.
Both are paid from SMS units, sold separately from credits in packs of 50, 100 and 250 units for €5, €10 and €25, valid 24 months. A text costs 1 to 3 units and a call 3 to 13 units a started minute, by country. Unanswered, busy or failed calls cost nothing. Prices per country: pricing. Details: SMS and phone-call alerts.
