Does Cloudflare block your monitoring?
Bot protection often challenges uptime monitors. They then report your site as down while it’s fine. We test from 15 locations and show exactly who got challenged.
The fix that works
PingWise customers can skip these steps: connect your Cloudflare account in the panel and we add the list and rule for you, in every zone you choose.
An IP Access rule set to “Allow” does not skip a managed challenge from a WAF custom rule. Use a skip rule at the top of your custom rules instead:
- Create an IP list from our probe IPs (IPv4 and IPv6). Any monitoring service you use publishes one.
- Security → WAF → Custom rules → new rule at the top, action Skip, skipping all remaining custom rules, managed rules and Super Bot Fight Mode.
- Run this test again.
