Import your checks from Pingdom

Monitors → Import has a Pingdom card: paste an API token with read access and your HTTP, ping, TCP, DNS and mail checks come over as drafts, with their cost shown first. The token is used once and never stored.

Since 19:52 UTC, Monitors → Import reads your checks from Pingdom. Paste an API token with Read access (My Pingdom → Settings → Pingdom API → Add API token) and click Read my checks. HTTP and HTTPS checks, including should contain and should not contain texts, and ping, TCP, DNS, SMTP, POP3 and IMAP checks appear as drafts with their interval (rounded to ours, never more often than Pingdom checked), paused state and tag, and the credit cost per month, before anything is created. Transaction checks, custom XML checks, UDP checks, alert contacts and status pages are not imported; the preview says which and why. A POST body, basic auth, custom headers and a TCP check's expected text come over with a note to finish by hand. The token goes to Pingdom only, is used once and is never stored. Details: Import from another service.
