Since 16:35 UTC, a heartbeat monitor has a keyword field. Have the job POST its output to the ping URL and the body must contain the keyword, or must not with «Alert when the keyword IS found». A ping that fails it marks the monitor down at once, with the reason «The ping’s body didn’t contain "…"». A backup that reports «OK», or a script that must never print «ERROR», can now be watched for what it says, not only for whether it ran.
Each monitor's page also has a Domain line: when its domain expires, in how many days, and the registrar, amber under 30 days and red under 14. Domain expiry alerts at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days have been there since 27 October, free; this puts the date where you look. For registries that publish no date, such as .gr, the line links to Domains → Expiry to enter it. Details in Monitor types.
