TTFB from more places, via Globalping

The TTFB checker can now ask up to 50 Globalping community probes, in the country or network you pick, for a second measurement.

Since 23:28 UTC the TTFB checker has a second section, TTFB from more places. Under our own measurement from 15 locations, you can ask up to 50 community probes of Globalping, the open network run by the jsDelivr team, to time the same page. Pick a country, a continent or a network (for example «Germany», «Europe+eyeball» or «AS3320»), and you see what homes, mobile networks and data centres there get.

Times are measured the way we measure ours: DNS, connection, TLS and the server's wait, up to the first byte, with the server's own time in its own column. If your address redirects, we follow the redirects first and ask Globalping for the page they end on. Answers that are blocked (401, 403) or have no page (5xx, errors) are listed last and left out of the median, because a firewall answering in 40 ms is not a fast site.

It is a second opinion only: on PingWise, down is decided by our own probes. The address you test goes to Globalping and the result stays public there; see Privacy §2.8.
