Two changes on the Incidents page tonight:
- On hold (19:07 UTC): an open incident can be put on hold and taken off hold. While it is on hold the "still down" reminders pause and are not counted against the limit of 15 per outage; monitoring continues and the recovery alert is sent as usual. The row is greyed, with who put it on hold and when, and the sidebar badge turns from red to grey when only held incidents are open. Not in the API yet.
- Pausing ends the incident (18:57 UTC): pausing a monitor that is down closes its open incident at that moment, and pause and resume appear in the incident log as paused and resumed, never as alerts. Paused time no longer counts against uptime, and a monitor confirmed up closes any incident that was left open.
The Incidents page also opens on the open incidents now, with the history under a Log tab, and the sidebar scrolls on its own on small screens.
